Santa and Rudolf visit Park Manor!
8th December 2015
The residents, staff and visitors of Park Manor Care Home were treated to a festive visit from Santa Claus and his reindeer on a crisp winter’s afternoon on Friday 18 December.
As the jingling bells could be heard approaching the Home, Santa, his sleigh and his ever faithful reindeer arrived, and having travelled a long distance to see the Park Manor residents and staff, Mr Claus was delighted to see all the smiling and expectant faces and could not wait to meet everyone and spread some festive cheer! Rudolf, arguably the star of the show, was glad to get a rest after flying the long distance to Park Manor with Santa in his sleigh in tow!
Excited children and residents gathered to meet the Man in Red to find out whether they were on the naughty or nice list and we are pleased to report that no one was left disappointed!
There were treats galore as the kitchen staff cooked up a storm and served a range of snacks to fend off the winter chill, including scrumptious finger food, delicious desserts and of course the Christmas classics, minced pies and mulled wine. The children were delighted to see the goody bags filled with their favourite sugary snacks which kept them munching while waiting patiently to see Santa and his reindeer.
It was a brilliant day had by all in the lead up to the most wonderful time of the year!
